Bike Sesh with the Boys (Missoula Bike Crew) Idaho & Washington road trip

Missoula Bike Crew in Washington State.
With only a week left of summer, my dear friend and fellow bike-Mama Jennie Rozeboom and I took some of our boys (Missoula Bike Crew) on a road trip to Idaho and Washington.

Since our boys are banned from Missoula Skate park from riding their bikes, they have few spots to practice their skills with the Whitefish Bike Jam coming up this fall. Luckly, good riding is only 3 hours west in ID and Wash.

Jennie's sons Dylan and Marley along with Cam Fuller, Kage Lamar and my boy Alex Bardsley brought their A-game to Coeur d' Lane Skate Park, plus the Skate park in Spokan and the Beacon Hill dirt jumps outside Spokane.

The boys went big and we had no injuries (except bike complications) Although concrete is unforgiving, these guys know how to push it hard.
At MFC (missoula free ride camp) this year, I know coach Cris Winner had them work on bailing when things go bad. It is amazing to watch these guys literally throw their bikes away from their body when a trick doesn't work out. I was just recently going through all the pads, helmets and other safety gear that we have invested in for Alex over the past 3 years. Right now I have several bins of dented gear, a clear indication of diligent commitment.

While we were in New Zealand, Alex didnt have his "crew" to bike with, but still had the inner drive to ride and practice everyday. Now that we are back in Montana, his passion is even more intense. Honestly, I just would like him to come home for dinner. All the boys are literally biking from morning until night.

After biking the concrete the boys were ready for dirt. Beacon Hill is an area that Coach Cris has brought them to before so they were excited. The jumps are big with 10ft gaps, big step-ups and oldschool ladders. There are so many trails and sweet lines to ride, it was overwhelming.
