"Frosting" - Snow/Photo craze in Missoula

Bookclub Frosting Photo

Frosting is the lastest Craze in Missoula.
How do you do it?

1. Select a summer activity
2. Dress in summer clothing and take a photo of activity.
3. Post your photo on Frosters Anonymous to share.

EASY CHEEP FUN!
Since I love taking "crazy" photos already, this venture suits me well. Here are the photos that I have done with friends.

Hopefully you will be inspired and go have fun in the snow too. (clothing optional)

Snow Days in Missoula!

Ellie in the snow
Missoula was covered by 2 ft of snow this last week. Our family was in heaven skiing, building forts and "frosting" with all the powder.

The winter weather prompted school officials to call of classes. Alex scored the most since the severe weather happened during Finals week. He got 5 extra days to put off tests until next Wednesday!

John and I ended up skiing 5 days this last week at Snowbowl. Our first experience with crowds at the hill after a massive dump was an eye opener. The resort had to close off the roads due to the masses.

Turns out that I really love to shovel.
I sorta got obsessed making "doggy paths" for our new pup "Pudge".
I also dug out 4 cars on our street and piled heaps of snow for the girls to build forts.

We had a bunch of girls over to work on several snow structures.
My job was to pile up snow and the girls created really cool spaces complete with rooms, chairs and tables all made of snow.

Girl friend Escape - Ski Knit 2012

skiing across Big Sky Lake, Montana.

Nearly every winter some of my wild girlfriends try to hook up for an adventure somewhere in Montana. This year we went to Big Sky Lake near Seeley Montana to cross-country ski and ice-skate.
All the women but me are obsessed Knitters. So of course the yarn and needles were packed with the chocolate and wine.
This year was full of fun, laughter and downright goofiness.
