Skiers ready to drop into course - 2 options for rails. |
This years Chamberlin Rail Jam was insane.
The venue was moved to Caras Park which made it more accessible for the weekend long event.
Chamberlin set up scaffolding downtown and trucked in rails from Lost Trail Ski area. The snow was brought in and packed down on wood boards from the ice skating rink. Riders had to climb stairs to ride rails and be careful to not go off the edge.
It was gnarly!

Riders came to compete from all over Montana. The big prize was $250 for 1st place.
Alex and his buddies were the young dudes competing against 20-30yr olds for the top 3 in skiing and snowboarding. Needless to say, none of the IRD4T crew made it too finals. But they stomped the course with style all day Friday.
I RIDE FOR TANNER was set up too!
Kathy organized us selling Swag and Big Sky Beer. Big Sky Brewery donated profits from the event to the park and we made over $3,000 for the Tanner Olson Memorial BMX Bike Park.
High FIVE!
