McLeod Peak, Rattlesnake Wilderness

Looking toward the Missions
McLeod Peak is not that far from my house! In fact, any of the peaks in the Rattlesnake Wilderness can be bagged from my bed and back for a beer if I get up early enough.

We started at 8am for a 2.5 hour mountain bike ride up the corridor to the wilderness boundary. From there we stashed out bikes and began the trek up toward the peak. Not too much bush-waking. The top was amazing with views of the Missions and Swan ranges. I was impressed with how much snow was still back there too.
